The couple had their traditional marriage in Anambra State a week before the white wedding which was on October 28, 2023, where they were gathered by their loved ones.
The festivities proceeded on Saturday, November 4, as the couple were joined together in the house of the Almighty God, in the presence of friends, family members, and colleagues who traveled to Edo State to witness this glamorous occasion.

Ekene who recently disclosed her engagement to the filmmaker, displays a treasure trove of footage from her traditional marriage ceremony held in her hometown of Anambra State.
In the caption, Ekene divulged that her bride price was paid on April 16th, 2023, officially sealing their traditional union. However, due to the ear-shattering situation in the East, she chose not to go wide-ranging with the kind of traditional wedding she had envisioned.
Before her engagement, she made a post on her Instagram page, that she gave all the glory to God Almighty for making this day come true. She wrote:
