Wizkid Announces Break Down from Music
A multi-well-known award-winning musician Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as “Wizkid” has declared plans to go on break or take time off the music scene. In a series of Instagram posts on Sunday, the “essence soloist said that he would be taking four or five years off the scene, including that he is considering going into football or golf.
He wrote in pidgin English “Back in 4 years, make una papa chop him money small or maybe 5 years or I fit still go dey play ball now.
“Or make I start dey play golf, fifa, or wrestling b*tch!”. All of una dey craze! Everybody dey mad.
He made this post because one of his fans was threatening him to release new songs. This music star initially responded to this post with a laughing emoji, to which he later gave the reply above stating he is on holiday.
This isn’t the first time Wizkid has announced a break from music. In 2019, the music star posted on her Twitter account showed his plans to take a break from music, he said “gone till March! Thank you”.
The statement of Wizkid brought attention online as many people have taken to the comment page of the post to react.
